Job Title: Backend Python Developer (SQL & API) Location: [Your Location / Remote / Hybrid] Experience: 6+ years Employment Type: Full-Time Notice Period: Immediate to 30 Days (preferred) Job Summary: We are looking for a highly skilled Backend Python Developer with strong experience in SQL databases and RESTful API development . The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing, building, and maintaining scalable backend services and data pipelines that power our web and mobile applications. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain backend components using Python . Build and maintain robust RESTful APIs for internal and external services. Write complex SQL queries and procedures to handle data processing and reporting needs. Optimize database queries for performance and scalability. Collaborate with front-end developers, data engineers, and product managers to deliver integrated solutions. Ensure code quality through unit testing, code reviews, and adherence to best practices. Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems. Implement security and data protection measures in APIs and backend services. Participate in system architecture and design discussions. Required Skills and Qualifications: 4+ years of professional experience as a Backend Developer . Strong proficiency in Python and related frameworks (such as Flask, Django, or FastAPI). Solid experience in working with SQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc.). Proven experience in designing and developing RESTful APIs . Understanding of database design, indexing, and query optimization. Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git). Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus. Strong problem-solving and communication skills. Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Role & responsibilities
