Description The Project Manager/Software Development Manager will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of software development projects, ensuring alignment with business goals and adherence to timelines and budgets. The ideal candidate will have 8-9 years of experience in managing the complete Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. Responsibilities 1. Lead and manage software development projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. 2. Oversee the entire SDLC, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance. 3. Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to ensure efficient and reliable software delivery. 4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and translate them into actionable plans. 5. Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful project outcomes. 6. Status reporting to various stakeholders: Conduct regular project status meetings and provide updates to stakeholders. 7. Timely and quality delivery. 8. Ensure that software development processes and practices are followed, promoting best practices and continuous improvement. 9. Manage and mentor a team of software developers, providing guidance and support to foster their professional growth. 10. Ensure that all project documentation is complete, accurate, and up to date. 11. Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation and improvement within the team. Requirements 1. Experience: 8-9 years of experience in software development and project management, with a strong focus on managing the complete SDLC and CI/CD pipelines. 2. Project Management: Proven ability to lead and manage software development projects, with a track record of delivering successful outcomes. 3. SDLC: In-depth knowledge of the software development life cycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance. 4. CI/CD: Hands-on experience with implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines, using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar. 5. Technical Skills: Proficiency in programming languages ( Python ) and development frameworks like Django, Flask . 6. Leadership: Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to mentor and develop team members. 7. Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. 8. Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues effectively. 9. Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies 10. Use of JIRA, Project Libre and similar software 11. Documentation: Status reports as well as technical documentation Good to have Qualifications 1. JIRA, PMP, Scrum certifications 2. Experience of working on python-based enterprise class applications 3. Worked on AI/ML, GenAI related projects 4. Domain knowledge: Telecom, Oil & Gas 5. Knows about data engineering and data governance 6. Knows about secure engineering and secure coding and implement ISO 27K or NIST or SOC in the projects.
