Python Fullstack Developer

Job Responsibilities:

1. Build and Lead a Team:

   Hire, onboard, and coach a high-performing cross-functional team of backend, frontend, and QA engineers.
2. 68 years of professional experience in software engineering, including at least several years in senior or lead roles

3. Drive Delivery:

   Take ownership of project delivery, ensuring milestones are met with quality, scalability, and sustainability in mind.

4. Hands-on Guidance:

   Contribute actively to the codebase, lead by example in both backend and frontend development, and support complex technical challenges.

5. Set Technical Direction:

   Shape system architecture, define coding standards, and guide the adoption of best practices across the team.

6. Foster Collaboration:

   Work closely with Engineering Managers and other engineering teams to ensure alignment and smooth integration.

7. Ensure Quality:

   Oversee testing, code reviews, and QA practices to maintain high-quality standards across all deliverables.

8. Scale for the Future:

   Lay the foundations for a sustainable, scalable external team that can grow with the company’s evolving needs.
9. Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent professional experience

Role:

• Proven track record as a Tech Lead or Senior Full Stack Engineer with leadership responsibilities
• Strong experience in backend development with Python and Django as well as modern frontend technologies (React, TypeScript)
• Experience in leading teams, including hiring, coaching, and mentoring engineers
• Hands-on experience with system design, REST API development, and microservices
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and modern DevOps practices
• Strong communication skills in English (German a plus)
• Enthusiasm for clean code, automation, and sustainable engineering practices
• Passion for sustainability and motivation to contribute to the energy transition

Good to Have:

• Familiarity with energy market processes and regulations
• Experience with FastAPI, Django Ninja, or Temporal

Knowledge of advanced test automation frameworks
