Job Description: Python EDI 837 Developer (Immediate Joiner) We are seeking a highly skilled Python EDI 837 Developer with hands-on experience in writing custom EDI parsers and processing EDI 837 healthcare claim transactions. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience working with EDI X12 formats , developing Python-based solutions for parsing, transforming, and validating EDI data , and integrating with backend systems. Immediate joiners preferred. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain custom EDI 837 parsers using Python for healthcare claims processing . Design, implement, and optimize Python-based EDI frameworks to handle large-scale X12 transactions . Work with EDI 837P, 837I, and 837D transaction sets to parse, validate, and integrate data into enterprise systems. Ensure compliance with HIPAA and healthcare industry standards in EDI processing. Build scalable ETL pipelines for transforming and routing EDI data efficiently. Develop APIs and integrations for EDI processing within cloud-based environments (preferably Azure) . Implement error handling, logging, and debugging mechanisms for EDI transactions. Work with stakeholders to analyze and troubleshoot EDI claim processing issues . Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate EDI data into databases, APIs, and healthcare platforms. Deploy and manage cloud-based EDI solutions , leveraging Azure services, DevOps, and automation tools . Must-Have: 2+ years of hands-on experience developing EDI 837 parsers and processing X12 transactions in Python . Strong understanding of EDI 837P, 837I, 837D formats and healthcare claims processing . Experience in parsing, validating, and transforming EDI files using Python-based libraries. Familiarity with HIPAA compliance, ANSI X12, and healthcare interoperability standards . Experience with ETL, data transformation, and database integration (SQL/NoSQL) . Strong programming skills in Python (FastAPI, Flask, or Django) . Experience working with cloud-based environments (Azure preferred) . Ability to troubleshoot and resolve EDI transaction errors efficiently.
