Required Skills & Experience

Minimum
3+ years
of IT experience in
Data Engineering
or related roles.
Strong, hands-on expertise with
Snowflake
(data modelling, performance tuning, data sharing, etc.).
Proficient in
Python
and
SQL
for data processing, automation, and scripting.
Proven experience in writing and optimizing
SQL
and
Python stored procedures
.
Experience with
SFTP
,
AWS S3
, and
Excel
for data ingestion and transformation.
Familiarity with
JIRA
and
Confluence
for task tracking and documentation.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable
data pipelines
and
ETL/ELT processes
using
Snowflake
and
Python
(preferably
Snowpark
).
Write and optimize complex
SQL
and
Python stored procedures
for data transformation, reporting, and automation.
Integrate and process data from diverse sources such as
SFTP
,
AWS S3
, and
Excel files
.
Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues, including data quality, performance bottlenecks, and configuration challenges.
Collaborate with
cross-functional teams
to understand business requirements and deliver effective data solutions.
Maintain technical documentation and contribute to knowledge-sharing initiatives via
Confluence
and
JIRA
.
