1. API Development & Integration:

   Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs using Python frameworks like

   Fast API Framework

   .

2. Microservices Architecture:

   Develop scalable and efficient

   microservices

   and integrate them with various data sources and third-party services.

3. Agile Development:

   Participate in Agile ceremonies (Scrum meetings, Sprint Planning, Retrospectives) and follow Agile best practices.

4. Code Quality & Best Practices:

   Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code, following industry standards and

   PEP8 guidelines

   .

5. Security & Performance:

   Implement authentication/authorization (OAuth, JWT), encryption, and other security measures while optimizing API performance.

6. Database Management:

   Work with relational databases like

   PostgreSQL, Oracle, Redshift

   .

7. Cloud & DevOps:

   Deploy, monitor, and manage APIs in

   AWS

   leveraging containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines.

8. Testing & Debugging:

   Write and maintain unit, integration, and automated tests using

   PyTest, Unit test, or similar frameworks

   .

9. Collaboration & Mentorship:

   Work closely with cross-functional teams (frontend, DevOps, QA) and mentor junior developers.

10. Documentation & Compliance:

    Maintain API documentation using

    Swagger/Open API

    , and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations (GDPR, HIPAA, etc.).

Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role:
