Python Developer - Loan Origination System

Job Description

Domain : Mandatory experience in Fintech / Loan Origination Systems (LOS) Job Type : Full-Time Key Responsibilities :- Design, develop, and maintain robust backend systems using Python (Flask/Django/FastAPI)- Build APIs and services that power financial workflows within the LOS platform- Work closely with product managers and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions- Optimize application performance, data processing, and system scalability- Integrate with third-party services including credit bureaus, payment gateways, and core banking systems- Ensure secure coding standards, data privacy, and compliance- Write clean, reusable, and maintainable code with proper documentation Required Skills & Qualifications :- 4+ years of backend development experience in Python- Mandatory experience in Loan Origination Systems (LOS) or lending domain- Strong understanding of financial workflows, underwriting, KYC/AML, credit decisioning, and loan disbursement processes- Experience in RESTful API design and integrations- Knowledge of relational databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, and ORM frameworks- Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)- Good understanding of software architecture, security, and microservices- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detailGood to Have :- Knowledge of FastAPI / Flask / Django REST Framework- Experience in data analytics, reporting, or financial modeling- Familiarity with credit bureau integrations (CIBIL, Experian, Equifax)
