Python developer

As an experienced Python backend developer with over 4 years of professional experience, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining backend applications using FastAPI, Flask, and Django. Your key responsibilities will include: - Building and managing RESTful APIs with a strong focus on scalability, performance, and security. - Working with API gateways such as Kong, AWS API Gateway, and NGINX for routing, versioning, and access control. - Contributing to the design and architecture of backend systems and application interfaces. - Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of well-integrated solutions. - Managing and optimizing relational and NoSQL databases like PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MongoDB. - Implementing background task processing using tools like Celery. - Ensuring quality through thorough testing (unit/integration) and code reviews. - Following best practices for version control, CI/CD, and deployment automation. To excel in this role, you must possess proficiency in FastAPI, Flask, and Django, along with hands-on experience in API gateways and managing API lifecycles. A good understanding of system design principles, application architecture, RESTful APIs, ORMs, and database design is crucial. Familiarity with Docker, Git, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud environments is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of security practices, including authentication and rate limiting, is essential. Your ability to write clean, efficient, and well-documented code will be instrumental in your success in this position. This is a full-time position based in Jp Nagar, Bengaluru, with a requirement for in-person work. The ideal candidate should be an immediate joiner with a proactive approach to their work.
