Python Developer Job Responsibilities : Job Description : We at Awarathon are looking for an enthusiastic and committed Python Product Development Associate (L1) to join our growing engineering team. This is an entry-level role designed for someone with solid foundational knowledge in Python development and a strong desire to learn and grow in a fast-paced, product-driven environment. You’ll contribute to backend systems that power our cutting-edge AI-enabled video roleplay platform. Responsibilities : 1. Assisting in the development of backend systems and APIs using Python. 2. Writing clean, maintainable, and scalable code under the guidance of senior developers.= 3. Supporting integration with third-party services and internal modules. 4. Participating in debugging and performance optimization activities. 5. Collaborating with cross-functional teams — QA, frontend, and product — to implement and test new features. 6. Maintaining proper documentation for code and technical workflows. 7. Learning and applying best practices in backend development and secure coding. 8. Writing unit tests and supporting the QA team during feature validation. Requirements : 1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 2. Strong understanding of core Python and object-oriented programming. 3. Familiarity with at least one Python web framework (preferably Flask or Django). 4. Basic understanding of RESTful APIs and how they work. 5. Experience working with relational databases like MySQL or PostgreSQL. 6. Version control knowledge — comfortable with Git. 7. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 8. Willingness to learn, adapt quickly, and take initiative. 9. Good communication and documentation abilities. Preferred Qualifications : 1. Experience with API testing tools like Postman. 2. Exposure to frontend technologies (HTML, JavaScript) is a plus. 3. Understanding of asynchronous programming and task queues (Celery, Redis). 4. Familiarity with cloud platforms or DevOps basics (Docker, AWS) is a bonus. 5. Internship or project experience in a product or SaaS company is an added advantage.
