Key Responsibilities:

• Design, construct, and manage scalable backend services utilizing FastAPI.
• Incorporate and enhance LLM pipelines (e.g., GPT, SBERT, or RoBERTa) for tasks like resume parsing, skill extraction, and job matching.
• Collaborate with the Frontend and ML teams to implement and oversee Vespa search and contextual scoring systems.
• Develop APIs for recruiter and candidate modules encompassing authentication, matching, and insights.
• Contribute to database design (MongoDB) ensuring data integrity and performance.
• Produce clean, reusable, and testable Python code with version control (Git).
• Enhance inference pipelines and integrate with Azure.
• Engage in design dialogues, architectural assessments, and enhancements in code quality.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 5+ years of professional Python backend development expertise.
• Proficiency in FastAPI, Flask, or Django REST Framework.
• Knowledge of MongoDB, vector databases.
• Familiarity with LLMs, embeddings, or NLP pipelines (Hugging Face, SentenceTransformers, etc.).
• Experience in integrating search engines is advantageous.
• Understanding of API security, rate-limiting, and scaling.
• Competency in Git, Docker, and fundamental CI/CD practices.
• Bonus points for familiarity with Azure, LangGraph, or vector database architectures.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Background in AI-driven platforms or recommendation systems.
• Exposure to agentic frameworks (Rasa, LangGraph, or AutoGen).
• Strong debugging, optimization, and documentation practices.
