Python Backend Lead

Job Description: You will be a Python Backend Lead in a company based in Hyderabad, with at least 10+ years of experience for SE IV level. As part of the role, you will be responsible for leading a team of 3 individuals. Your responsibilities will include: - Having 7+ years of professional experience in writing production-grade software, with a focus on leading the design of complex systems. - Demonstrating strong expertise in Python, specifically in Django or equivalent frameworks, and REST API development. - Possessing solid knowledge of frontend frameworks such as React and TypeScript. - Having a strong understanding of relational databases, preferably MySQL or PostgreSQL. - Experience with CI/CD pipelines, containerization using Docker, and orchestration with Kubernetes. - Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure, with a preference for AWS. - Proven track record of debugging complex production issues and improving observability. Qualifications required for this role include: - Experience in enterprise SaaS or B2B systems with multi-tenancy, authentication methods like OAuth, SSO, SAML, and data partitioning. - Knowledge of event-driven architecture, A/B testing frameworks, and analytics pipelines. - Familiarity with accessibility standards and best practices. - Exposure to the Open edX ecosystem or open-source contributions in education technology. - Demonstrated history of technical mentorship, team leadership, or cross-team collaboration.
