Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Python Backend Developer with 5-7 years of experience in backend development. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of Python principles and best practices, as well as extensive experience with at least one Python framework.

Roles and Responsibility

Design and develop high-quality, scalable, and efficient backend systems using Python.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements.
Develop and maintain large-scale applications using Python frameworks such as Flask, FastAPI, or Django.
Ensure the scalability, reliability, and performance of backend systems.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving overall code quality.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.

Job Requirements

Strong understanding of Python programming language and its ecosystem.
Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.
Knowledge of RESTful API design and development principles.
Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Understanding of containerization technologies like Docker or Kubernetes.
Experience with root science tools like Jupyter Notebooks, Pandas, or NumPy is a plus.
Knowledge of Generative AI relevant frameworks and techniques is a plus.
HSBC working experience is a plus.
