Job Description

As a Pharmaceutical Purchase Executive with 3+ years of experience in procurement, vendor coordination, and inventory management, your role will involve managing the end-to-end procurement process for pharmaceutical products. You will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, and negotiating with suppliers and manufacturers. Issuing purchase orders (POs) and tracking deliveries to ensure timely supply will also be a key responsibility. Additionally, you will maintain accurate records of purchase transactions, vendor terms, and pricing. Monitoring stock levels and coordinating with the sales and inventory team for replenishments is crucial. Ensuring compliance with pharmaceutical regulations, product certifications, and licenses is a vital aspect of your role. Developing and maintaining strong relationships with existing and new vendors is essential. Working closely with the QA/Regulatory team to verify vendor compliance and providing regular reports on purchase costs, lead times, and vendor performance are among your responsibilities. Key Responsibilities: - Manage end-to-end procurement process for pharmaceutical products - Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers and manufacturers - Issue purchase orders (POs) and track deliveries to ensure timely supply - Maintain accurate records of purchase transactions, vendor terms, and pricing - Monitor stock levels and coordinate with the sales and inventory team for replenishments - Ensure compliance with pharmaceutical regulations, product certifications, and licenses - Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and new vendors - Work closely with QA/Regulatory team to verify vendor compliance - Provide regular reports on purchase costs, lead times, and vendor performance Qualifications Required: - Minimum 3 years of experience as a Purchase Executive in the pharmaceutical industry - Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical products, formulations, and compliance requirements - Proficient in purchase/inventory management software - Excellent negotiation, communication, and documentation skills - Ability to manage multiple vendors and prioritize urgent procurement needs - Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation - Must be currently residing in Mumbai and available for in-office work Preferred Qualifications: - D. Pharm / B.
