Purchase Manager

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Purchase Manager/Officer to oversee procurement activities for our real estate projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing high-quality materials, negotiating with suppliers, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring cost-effective procurement in line with project timelines and budgets. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure timely and cost-effective purchasing of construction materials, equipment, and services. Identify and evaluate potential vendors and suppliers, ensuring quality and reliability. Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers to optimize costs and maintain quality standards. Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with project managers to ensure timely availability of materials. Maintain strong relationships with vendors, contractors, and stakeholders. Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements. Track and analyse market trends, pricing, and supplier performance to improve procurement efficiency. Process purchase orders/Work Orders, maintain accurate records, and manage procurement documentation. Address and resolve any supply chain issues, delays, or disputes with suppliers. Collaborate with finance and accounts teams for budgeting and payment processing. Requirements: Candidate should be Graduate/Postgraduate preferably B.E. Civil with minimum 2-5 year of experience in the real estate industry. He Should have expertise in the construction industry material purchasing. In-depth knowledge of construction materials, supplier management, and procurement processes.
