Purchase Manager

Job Summary:

The Purchase Manager will be responsible for managing all procurement activities including vendor development, material sourcing, price negotiations, purchase order processing, and ensuring the quality and timely availability of materials. The candidate will be responsible for cost-effective sourcing, vendor development, and ensuring timely supply of materials to support smooth production.

Key Responsibilities:

· Purchase machines, tools, machine spares, and industrial equipment for manufacturing operations.

· Must have understating manufacturing Machine & Materials Plastic & Steel

· Knowledge of Injection moulding, CNC, Sheet Metal.

· Source and procure plastic raw materials (PP, ABS, Nylon, PVC) and metal materials/components (steel, aluminium, fabricated parts).

· Develop new suppliers and maintain strong vendor relationships.

· Float RFQs, negotiate pricing, terms & contracts, and finalize suppliers.

· Monitor vendor performance (quality, delivery, cost).

· Coordinate with Production, Planning & Quality teams for material forecasting.

· Maintain optimal inventory levels and manage ERP/MRP-based procurement.

· Drive cost-reduction initiatives and alternate sourcing.

· Resolve material shortages, delays, and quality-related concerns.

· Strong experience in buying machines, plastic raw materials & metal components.

· Excellent negotiation, supplier development, and cost-analysis skills.

· Good knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Tally, etc.).

· Strong communication and decision-making abilities.

• Experience in purchasing plastic, metal, rubber materials & industrial machines is essential.

Qualifications & Experience: -

· Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical / Automobile / Production Engineering (preferred).

· 10-12 years of experience in automotive or industrial manufacturing procurement.

Pay: ₹700,000.00 per year
