Role & responsibilities The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following: 1. Ability and experince to use modern purchasing methods and tools 2. Build strong vendor base for high quality and reliable supply of raw material and components 3. Ability to use value engineering and other techniques to drive cost saving drives through subsitution, new material approvals and testing 4. Work closely with development , R&D and Projects teams to create an competitive edge in the market , through constant innovation and improvement. 5. Supplier / vendor audits , driving strong relationships , driving quality programs at vendor end 6. Conduct market analysis periodically , competition supply chain and emerging trends Preferred candidate profile Masters degree or certifications in procurement (e.g., CPM, CPSM).
