Job Description

Responsibilities Assessing the performance of the vendors based on various criterions such as percentage for rejections, quality improvement rate, timely delivery, credit terms, etc, purchase of materials, quality verification. Preparing Purchase Order, Overseeing follow-up with vendors for timely deliveries, and quality checks ,billing & ensuring timely payments. Monitoring incoming materials supplied by vendors, checking product costing, Inventory recording and ensuring they are as per quality & quantity specifications. Budgeting and planning the funds for procurement and sourcing of materials ensuring optimum utilization of materials, maximum cost savings & meeting anticipatory orders for monthly operations. Supplier evaluation and management, projection of material supply site wise. Preparing MIS reports, Work orders of inward/ outward logistics with a view to appraise top management and users of the routine inventory management activities Managing operations ensuring optimum inventory levels to achieve maximum cost savings without hampering the operations Understanding of interiors of residential apartments Formulating and implementing the procurement strategy by developing/ modifying strategy for purchase and establishing methods to achieve project targets. Knowledge on building materials, manufacturing process , sources and procurement. Desired profile of the candidate Strong knowledge of supply chain management ,purchase management, sourcing, vendor management, material management in High rise residential Buildings.
