Role & responsibilities Identify and evaluate potential suppliers based on quality, cost, and delivery requirements Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers, including pricing and payment terms Monitor supplier performance to ensure on-time delivery and quality standards are met Maintain accurate purchase records and update procurement database Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand material requirements and forecast demand Develop and implement strategies to optimize procurement processes and cost savings Identify and mitigate supply chain risks by proactively monitoring market trends and supplier capabilities Participate in supplier audits and supplier development initiatives Stay updated with industry trends, market conditions, and new product developments that may impact procurement activities Preferred candidate profile must exp in fabrication items purchase for transformer tanks Perks and benefits as per company norms
