1.

• Identification, floating inquiries for quotations / RFQs, making comparative analysis of prices and terms for purchasing decisions, negotiations and finalization of Contracts with global & local suppliers for Raw material, Tools & Indirect buy.

• Align Category supply chain activities with business requirement. Implements Strategic Sourcing, strategy ensuring that suppliers have the capability and capacity to meet current and future business requirements. Ensure all relevant parties understand strategies and execute processes accordingly.

• Manage and develop relationships with suppliers and stakeholders at Local Division Lines, assess and evaluate existing suppliers' performance and collaborate with the technical team for development of new Vendors and Materials. Expansion of sourcing base for supply risks mitigation and better negotiations opportunities and vendor relationship management with domestic and overseas suppliers in terms of OTD, pricing, commercial terms, volume, lead time, quality, innovation and service.

• Analyse procurement activities covering total costs & delivery times, identify opportunities to improve both cost and time on Castings, Sheet metal, Cable & Harness, High level assembly and estimates & challenge suppliers based on participation in Win/Loss Analysis along with P&L teams. Active Collaboration with category teams, R&D & Technical Community for lowest total product cost.

• Ensure appropriate supplier selection (focusing on most competitive total cost, quality, processes, and sustainability) in accordance with product & company policies. Apply program procurement procedures, plans, and ensure appropriate implementation and compliance. Provide and maintain standard terms in purchase contracts/ Terms and Conditions in line with Global sourcing, directives, and guidelines.

• Monitor the program OTD and deliverable as per requirement of LDL. Manage critical component supply chain issues and pro-actively work to resolve issues related to procurement cost, quality, and delivery.

• Document general and special conditions for use on all project purchase documents, project procurement procedures, and project procurement plans and ensures compliance.

• Proven problem solving, trouble shooting and cost reduction record.
• Experience with leading medical devices procurement process teams for day-to-day operations and in regulatory audits.

• Support and influence global purchasing strategy and processes through regular communication with global staff. GNR can be raised in the case of any exigencies for business requirement

• Experience in executing new products procurement on time and ensure all relevant procurement activities are in in-line with ISO 13485 and FDA guidelines.

• Through knowledge & experience of EHS, operational safety, medical device assembly, testing, component manufacturing, qualification process, part traceability & regulatory requirements pertaining to Medical / Healthcare industry.

• Experience in, budgetary discipline, supply chain and project management

• Should have excellent man management skills.

• Focus on program execution and efficiency improvements, electronic commodities, Spend Analysis Report generation, Savings Capturing, supplier financial capability assessment, costing, Negotiations.

• Knowledge in E&O, waterfall charts, FCST vs Demand analysis, lean principles, supplier base of Component manufacturers, Distributors etc.

• An effective communicator with good analytical, leadership, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.

• BE or BTech. or high or equivalent Degree. MBA is added preference.
• Minimum 15 yrs experience in Procurement & Sourcing function in Medical Device Assembly and Health Care and Pharma Companies.
