Purchase Executive

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Purchase Executive with experience in the valves and actuators industry to manage procurement activities, vendor coordination, and cost control while ensuring timely availability of quality materials for production and projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Source and purchase valves, actuators, accessories, and related engineering components.
• Develop and maintain supplier relationships for reliable procurement.
• Identify new vendors and negotiate price, delivery, and payment terms.
• Issue Purchase Orders (POs) and ensure accuracy as per technical specifications.
• Coordinate with production, engineering, and stores departments for material requirements.
• Track order status and ensure on-time delivery of materials.
• Handle supplier performance evaluation and issue resolution.
• Maintain purchase records, vendor details, and documentation.
• Monitor inventory levels and avoid stock shortages or overstocking.
• Ensure compliance with company purchasing policies and quality standards.
• Handle import purchases, if applicable (documentation and coordination).
• Support cost-saving initiatives and vendor development programs.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Diploma / BE in Mechanical Engineering or relevant qualification.
• Minimum 5–10 years experience in valves, actuators, or industrial equipment procurement.
• Strong knowledge of valves types, actuators, and engineering materials.
• Ability to read technical drawings and specifications.
• Negotiation and communication skills.
• Knowledge of ERP / purchase systems and MS Excel.
• Vendor sourcing and price analysis skills.
• Understanding of GST and basic import/export procedures (preferred).

Preferred Candidate Profile:

• Experience in industrial valve manufacturers or automation companies.
• Strong follow-up and vendor coordination ability.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and documentation management.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
