Role Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Purchase Executive to join our procurement team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the procurement process, ensuring timely acquisition of goods and services, and maintaining strong supplier relationships. This role is crucial for optimizing our purchasing strategies in the Indian market. Key Accountabilities: Supplier Management: Identify, evaluate, and establish relationships with suppliers to ensure quality and timely delivery of goods. Purchase Orders: Prepare and process purchase orders in accordance with company policies and budget constraints. Market Research: Conduct market research to stay updated on trends, pricing, and supplier options in the Indian market. Negotiation: Negotiate contracts and pricing with suppliers to achieve cost savings while ensuring quality standards. Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with internal teams to forecast demand and prevent stockouts. Quality Assurance: Ensure all purchased goods meet the companys quality standards and compliance requirements. Reporting: Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier performance. Prepare regular reports for management review. Collaboration: Work closely with various departments, including finance, operations, and quality control, to align purchasing strategies with business needs. Qualifications: Educational Background: BSc/MSc (Science-Chemistry as one subject) Experience: 1 to 3 Years Skills: Proficient in MS Office and purchasing software. Knowledge of local regulations and compliance standards related to procurement. Familiarity with supply chain management principles. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
