Job Title: Purchase Executive (FMCG/OTC Industry) Location: Gurugram Experience Required: 2-5 Years Job Description: We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Purchase Executive with 1-3 years of experience in the FMCG or OTC industry. The Purchase Executive will be responsible for managing procurement activities, ensuring the timely purchase of materials, products, and services, and maintaining relationships with suppliers to meet the company's operational needs. Key Responsibilities: Procurement Operations: Handle end-to-end procurement process, from identifying requirements to issuing purchase orders. Source, select, and negotiate with suppliers to ensure quality products and services at competitive prices. Ensure timely procurement of finished goods. Supplier Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers. Evaluate supplier performance based on quality, cost, and delivery reliability. Resolve issues related to orders, deliveries, or vendor discrepancies. Inventory Management: Collaborate with the inventory team to manage stock levels and avoid shortages or overstock situations. Ensure timely replenishment of inventory while minimizing excess inventory. Monitor stock and ensure goods are procured within budget and lead times. Cost Optimization: Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements. Negotiate prices and terms with suppliers to achieve favorable deals while maintaining product quality. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate procurement records, including purchase orders, supplier agreements, and inventory reports. Prepare regular reports on procurement status, vendor performance, and cost analysis. Compliance: Ensure all procurement activities adhere to company policies and industry regulations. Ensure products meet quality and safety standards, especially in the FMCG/OTC sector. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. 1-3 years of experience in purchasing/procurement, preferably in the FMCG or OTC industry. Strong negotiation and communication skills. Good knowledge of procurement processes, vendor management, and supply chain principles. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and procurement software/tools. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize, and meet deadlines. Knowledge of market trends and pricing in the FMCG/OTC industry. Preferred Skills: Familiarity with ERP systems or similar procurement tools. Experience in handling raw materials, packaging materials, and finished goods procurement.
