Job Title: Purchase Executive
Location: Ahmedabad, Gujarat

Salary Range: ₹20,000 – ₹35,000 CTC

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Purchase Executive with strong experience in procurement, ERP management, vendor handling, and commercial operations. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience in purchase order management, vendor follow-ups, rate negotiations, and technical knowledge of Injection Moulding Machine Parts.

Key Responsibilities ERP & Data Management

• Maintain Party Master in ERP.
• Maintain Rate Master (Purchase).
• Ensure proper item coding with complete description in Item Master.
• Create and update Vendor Master in ERP.
• Maintain Price List files (hard copy & soft copy) with Director’s signature.
• Maintain and update Quotation files for goods and jobwork.

Purchase Operations

• Prepare and manage Purchase Orders (POs).
• Handle Technical & Consumable ordering (including warranty items).
• Process material replacements or rework outsourcing (e.g., body structure items).
• Verify invoices against POs and delivery challans.
• Coordinate for new R&D purchase requirements.
• Ensure service-related purchase coordination only for service requirements.

Follow-up & Coordination

• Regular order follow-ups with suppliers.
• Coordinate with Stores for material inward and stock updates.
• Arrange material transportation and logistics.
• Coordinate with Machine Shop for RM (Raw Material) supply.
• Maintain smooth vendor communication for timely supplies.

Commercial & Vendor Management

• Conduct rate inquiries for goods and jobwork.
• Develop and evaluate new vendors for cost-effective sourcing.
• Negotiate prices and terms with suppliers.
• Identify and evaluate item substitutes for cost/availability optimization.
• Prepare and maintain price comparison charts with technical data sheets.
• Explore and propose better alternatives for current solutions.
• Visit vendors for quality checks, relationship building, and negotiations.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of Purchase Order process, follow-up, and commercial handling.
• Proficiency in ERP software (Purchase Module).
• Good technical knowledge of Injection Moulding Machine Parts & Industrial Consumables.
• Excellent vendor negotiation and development skills.
• Strong coordination with stores, accounts, and production teams.
• Good analytical skills for price comparison and alternative sourcing.
• Ability to manage documentation (hand copy & soft copy).

Educational Qualification

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Industrial Engineering or equivalent.
• Additional certifications in Procurement, Supply Chain, or ERP will be an added advantage.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
