Mechxport is a new vertical of The Steefo Group with primary focus on design, supply, and service capital and peripheral equipment, spare parts, consumables, industrial accessories, and provide consultancy services to industries such as Steel, Power, Agriculture, Oil & Gas, Green Energy, Mining, and Petrochemicals in India and around the globe. It will remain focus to increase trade to expand customer base around the globe. Job Overview Summary/Objective: The Purchase Executive/Engineer shall work on day-to-day purchase activity with continued efforts to explore in new suppliers, assess current suppliers and strong negotiation skills. Responsibilities Develop and implement sourcing strategies that align with company goals. Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers to diversify our product offerings. Negotiate terms with suppliers to secure the best pricing, quality, and delivery timelines. Manage and monitor supplier performance, addressing any issues related to quality, delivery, or compliance. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including logistics, finance and sales, to ensure alignment on sourcing needs. Conduct market research and stay updated on industry trends for competitive sourcing. Maintain accurate records of supplier agreements, contracts, and performance data. Prepare regular reports on sourcing metrics and identify opportunities for process improvements. Qualifications B.E.
