Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Purchase Engineer located in Ahmedabad. The Purchase Engineer will be responsible for sourcing and procuring materials, negotiating with suppliers, maintaining inventory levels, and ensuring that materials meet quality standards. The role requires close collaboration with the engineering and production teams to meet project timelines and budget requirements. The Purchase Engineer will also prepare purchase orders, review supplier performance, and manage supply chain risks.

Qualifications

• Experience in sourcing, procurement, and supplier management
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Familiarity with inventory management and quality control processes
• Knowledge of supply chain management and risk assessment
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field
• Proficiency in using procurement and inventory management software
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and coordinate with multiple teams
• Experience in the elevator or manufacturing industry is a plus
