As a Pulmonologist, your primary responsibility will be diagnosing and managing a wide variety of pulmonary and respiratory conditions. This includes but is not limited to chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), asthma, interstitial lung disease, and pulmonary hypertension. You will be expected to perform specialized procedures such as bronchoscopy, endobronchial ultrasound (EBUS), and thoracentesis with precision and expertise. Additionally, part of your role will involve interpreting diagnostic tests including pulmonary function tests, chest imaging, and arterial blood gases to accurately assess and diagnose respiratory conditions. You will also play a vital role in educating patients and their families about their respiratory diseases, available treatment options, and preventive measures they can take to improve their respiratory health. Moreover, you will be required to ensure strict compliance with medical standards, hospital policies, and regulatory requirements to maintain the highest level of patient care and safety.
