About Us Morning Star BrandCom is a communications advisory firm specializing in corporate reputation, crisis preparedness, and strategic media relations . We partner with businesses that take their reputation seriously — from legacy institutions to high-growth challengers — helping them communicate clearly, credibly, and consistently in a world of constant scrutiny. We’re looking for a PR Executive who is analytical, articulate, and intellectually curious — someone who understands that great communication isn’t about spin, but substance. What This Role Involves You will work alongside a senior team on mandates that include corporate positioning, issue management, media engagement , and thought leadership . The role involves both thinking and doing: researching, writing, tracking, and engaging across multiple workstreams. This is not a creative ad agency job. It’s an opportunity to contribute to the kind of communication that shapes reputations, influences perception, and earns trust — often in high-stakes or high-visibility scenarios. Key Responsibilities Support corporate communication strategies through media research, content development, and outreach Draft briefing notes, media pitches, responses, FAQs, and backgrounders Monitor news cycles, identify reputational risks, and track client coverage Maintain and update journalist databases, industry notes, and press kits Assist in preparing clients for media interactions and public statements Participate in internal and external meetings, keeping tasks and timelines on track Who This Role Is For We value skills over labels — and welcome candidates from PR, consulting, sales, client servicing, or other client-facing, research-heavy roles. What matters is your ability to think clearly, write well, and navigate complexity with confidence. You’re likely a good fit if you: Are an excellent communicator (written + verbal) with a nose for nuance Can break down complex issues into clear, actionable ideas Are thorough with research and comfortable working with limited information Stay calm under pressure and are quick to adapt Take ownership of tasks and timelines without being micromanaged Are interested in how companies shape public perception, handle scrutiny, and build credibility over time Nice to Have (Not Musts) Prior experience in PR or communications (internships count) Exposure to corporate affairs, journalism, public policy, or legal/compliance-driven work Understanding of India’s media and business landscape What You’ll Get Direct exposure to strategic communication work with decision-makers A chance to work on real issues that matter to real businesses Mentorship from experienced professionals in a collaborative, low-ego environment Opportunities to grow into advisory and client-facing roles over time To apply , send your resume and a brief note on why this kind of communication interests you. We’d also love to know about something complex you’ve had to explain to someone — and how you did it. VERY VERY IMPORTANT: We will absolutely judge you if you apply without reading the Job Description. And please know this is not social media or influencer marketing, not even close.
