Public Relations Communications Specialist

UrPR is a young, dynamic PR & Communications firm (est. 2021) built on creativity, strategy, and real impact. We help brands shape strong narratives across traditional and digital media with fresh thinking and smart execution.

Role Description:

If you’re a Mass Communication graduate who’s just stepping into the industry but already a champ at what you do — someone who writes well, speaks confidently, presents smartly, thinks fast, learns faster, and isn’t shy to pick up the phone and talk to literally anyone (clients, founders, influencers, celebs, partners) — then you might be the one we’re looking for.

This role gives you the space to learn, grow, experiment, and actually work on real projects from day one. No fluff, no coffee-fetching — real work, real responsibility, real growth.

This is a full-time remote-first role (for now), but you’ll need to be Mumbai-based for occasional on-ground meetings, events, shoots, presentations, and brainstorms. We’re a young, fast-moving startup — so ownership, adaptability, presence of mind, and smart execution are key.

What You’ll Do:

• Maintain, manage & organise client and media databases

• Support BD actively — calls, decks, lead generation, sponsorships, and collaborations

• Research and connect with influencers, celebrities, brands & potential partners

• Explore creative opportunities for tie-ups and partnerships

• Prepare timely reports, insights, and research documents

• Participate in meetings, brainstorms, events, shoots, presentations, and on-ground activities

Qualifications:

• Strong understanding of Public Relations, stakeholder management, and media dynamics

• Excellent communication & writing abilities; strong strategic content sense

• Confident, presentable, and great at building relationships

• Smart, proactive, and comfortable working with cross-functional teams

• Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication, PR, Journalism, or related fields

• Understanding of digital media strategies is a plus

• Prior PR experience/familiarity with mainstream and newage media landscape is an added advantage
