We are seeking a skilled and experienced Public Relations and Media Management Professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in public relations and media management, with experience working in English media houses in Kerala. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent communication skills and the ability to manage media relations effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement effective public relations strategies to enhance the visibility and reputation of our clients.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with media contacts, including journalists, editors, and influencers.
• Craft compelling press releases, media kits, and other PR materials.
• Coordinate and manage media outreach efforts, including press conferences, interviews, and media events.
• Monitor media coverage and analyze the effectiveness of PR campaigns.
• Handle crisis communication and develop strategies to manage negative publicity.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure cohesive messaging across all channels.
• Provide media training and support to clients and internal teams.
• Stay updated with industry trends and incorporate them into PR strategies.
• Manage social media accounts and create engaging content to support PR campaigns.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in public relations, with a proven track record of working in major media houses in Kerala.
• Strong understanding of media landscape and media management capabilities.
• Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills in English and Malayalam.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with media professionals.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Proficiency in using PR and media management tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle crisis situations effectively.
• A proactive and results-driven approach.
