Job Title : Primary Science Teacher (PRT) Location : Deep Academic Heights, Atrauliya, Azamgarh (UP) Department : Science Reports To : Principal Position Type : Full-time, Permanent Job Overview: We are seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Primary Science Teacher (PRT) to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and interactive science lessons to primary school students, fostering curiosity, critical thinking, and a love of learning. This role is ideal for an individual who enjoys inspiring young minds and promoting scientific literacy in a creative and hands-on manner. Key Responsibilities: Lesson Planning & Delivery : Prepare and deliver well-structured and interactive science lessons aligned with the school’s curriculum. Use a variety of teaching methods and resources (e.g., hands-on experiments, multimedia tools) to keep students engaged and cater to different learning styles. Student Engagement & Support : Foster a positive learning environment where students feel comfortable exploring and asking questions about the natural world. Provide individual attention and support to students as needed, addressing their unique learning needs. Assessments & Progress Tracking : Conduct formative and summative assessments to evaluate student understanding and progress. Regularly update progress reports for students and communicate effectively with parents regarding academic development. Classroom Management : Maintain a disciplined and respectful classroom environment conducive to learning. Implement effective strategies for managing student behavior and promoting positive interactions. Collaboration & Professional Development : Work closely with other teachers, staff, and school leadership to plan interdisciplinary activities and projects. Participate in regular professional development sessions to stay updated on best practices in science education. Safety & Experimentation : Ensure the safe use of materials, tools, and equipment during practical science activities. Promote safety protocols during science experiments and field trips. Extracurricular Activities : Encourage and facilitate student participation in science fairs, exhibitions, and other extracurricular activities related to science. Qualifications: Education : Bachelor's degree in Science (preferably B.Ed. in Primary Education with Science as a subject) or equivalent. Additional qualifications or certifications in education or science teaching are a plus. Experience : Previous teaching experience in a primary school setting, especially in science, is preferred. Familiarity with the curriculum and educational standards at the primary level. Skills & Competencies : Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to engage and motivate young learners. Sound understanding of the primary science curriculum. Creativity in teaching and the ability to make complex concepts accessible and fun. Patience, enthusiasm, and a passion for teaching. Personal Attributes: Passionate about science and teaching. Patient and nurturing approach with young learners. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
