Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Propulsion Engineer located in Sanand. The Propulsion Engineer will be responsible for designing, testing, and analysing propulsion systems. Day-to-day tasks include developing propulsion system specifications, conducting performance testing, and collaborating with the systems engineering team to integrate propulsion systems with other spacecraft components. The role also involves troubleshooting and resolving propulsion-related issues, as well as contributing to research and development efforts to improve propulsion technologies. Qualifications Proficiency in Propulsion and Propulsion Systems including Solid and Liquid Strong Systems Engineering skills Analytical Skills to assess and improve propulsion performance especially for cryogenic systems Evaluate thermal loads on propulsion system components and develop solutions for effective thermal management Plan and conduct tests on propulsion components and systems, analysing data to validate design assumptions Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail Maintain detailed documentation of propulsion system designs, analyses, and test results Team collaboration and communication skills Relevant experience in rocketry or spacecraft engineering is a plus Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field Show more Show less
