Scope Of Work* Primary Formation of Proposal task force in consultation with Proposals & Estimation Head. Develop work-plan for the proposal preparation & communicate roles and responsibilities to members of the Proposal Task Force Define standards for communication, documentation etc. among the team. Estimate requirement & costs of resources for the proposal, manpower requirement, Project administration, Items for which no quote/ MTO would be obtained. Ensure estimates prepared & collated by the Estimation Officer & the proposal team are error free. Utilize learning s from past projects during estimation & review and report to management. Ensure implementation of cost reduction initiative, value engineering and constructability sessions and adopt the feasible options in base or alternate proposals as they case may be. Drive the Risk Assessment process, collate and recommend a contingency for the bid. Ensure Proposal is complete, compiled & submitted as per client requirements. Compile and present Preliminary and Final presentation of estimate to Head Estimation and Proposal. Shared Across Functionally Finalise responsibility matrix between various capability centres, engineering centres, supply chain and construction. Get approval from Proposals & Estimation Head. Provide feedback to the Proposals & Estimation Head on information maintained in the database which would be used for the purposes of estimation. Resolve or escalate all inter departmental technical & estimation issues to Proposals & Estimation Head. Co-ordinate with personnel from Proposal Task Force to derive resources/costs for relevant areas. Report progress to and obtain feedback from Proposals & Estimation Head and SBU Head at regular intervals. Prepare a report on lessons learnt at the conclusion of each Proposal and forward to management for implementation for other future tenders. Coordinate with Project Manager for complete handover of estimation related documents to the project team.
