Job Description - Project Manager Job Description Smartdocs is seeking for Project Manager with 7 to 10 years of experience, particularly in managing implementations and rollouts for US-based clients. As an Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, implementation, and execution of projects within our organization. Your role will involve managing project timelines, budgets, resources, and deliverables to ensure successful project completion while meeting business objectives. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including IT, business stakeholders, consultants, and vendors to drive project success. Roles & Responsibilities Develop comprehensive project plans outlining project scope, objectives, timelines, and resource requirements. Coordinate project activities and tasks, ensuring alignment with project goals and priorities. Engage with business stakeholders to understand project requirements, expectations, and priorities. Communicate project updates, status reports, and key milestones to stakeholders in a clear and timely manner. Lead and motivate cross-functional project teams, providing guidance, direction, and support throughout the project lifecycle. Allocate resources effectively, ensuring that team members have the necessary tools, skills, and support to succeed. Develop project budgets and resource plans, monitoring expenditures and resource allocations to ensure adherence to financial and resource constraints. Identify opportunities for cost savings, efficiency improvements, and resource optimization to maximize project ROI. Establish quality assurance processes and standards to ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions that meet business requirements. Proactively identify project risks and issues, assess their potential impact, and develop risk mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions Manage relationships with external vendors, consultants, and service providers involved in project delivery. Define vendor roles and responsibilities, negotiate contracts and service agreements, and monitor vendor performance to ensure compliance with project requirements and standards. What we are looking for Exceptional knowledge of marketing techniques and platforms Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field. Master s degree or PMP certification is a plus. Proven experience (7 to 10 years) as a Project Manager, with a focus on project delivery. In-depth knowledge of solutions, modules, and best practices. Strong project management skills, including project planning, budgeting, resource allocation, and risk management. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Experience in managing complex implementations, upgrades, migrations, and support projects. Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies. Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira, Solution Manager). Having experience & knowledge of Supply chain Management would be add on. Having experience with productbased company or startup would be add on.
