Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to oversee Magento-based e-commerce projects specifically for the US market. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of Magento, a proven track record in managing e-commerce projects, and expertise in delivering high-quality solutions within the timeline and budget. This role involves working with both internal teams and clients to deliver seamless Magento e-commerce platforms that meet the needs and expectations of the US market. As the Project Manager, you will lead projects from inception through to launch, working closely with developers, designers, and business stakeholders to ensure that every project is executed efficiently and successfully. You will play a crucial role in managing client relationships, tracking project progress, identifying potential risks, and ensuring the project is delivered to the highest standard. Key Responsibilities: Project Planning & Execution: Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with internal stakeholders and clients. Develop and maintain detailed project plans that include timelines, budgets, and resource allocation. Coordinate project tasks, milestones, and delivery schedules to ensure timely completion. Ensure that all project phases are properly executed, and keep stakeholders informed at all times. Team Leadership & Collaboration: Lead and manage cross-functional project teams, including developers, designers, UX/UI specialists, and quality assurance. Foster a collaborative work environment to ensure smooth communication and alignment across all team members and stakeholders. Actively manage project tasks and timelines, and ensure the team has the resources needed to succeed. Client Communication & Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle. Set clear client expectations, communicate progress updates, and gather feedback to ensure that deliverables meet business needs. Address any concerns or changes requested by the client in a timely manner, ensuring satisfaction. Risk & Issue Management: Proactively identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to address them. Address and resolve project challenges and roadblocks, ensuring projects stay on track. Ensure proper change management practices are followed when project requirements evolve. Quality Assurance: Ensure that the project meets the highest quality standards before delivery. Manage and oversee UAT (User Acceptance Testing) to ensure that issues are identified and resolved promptly. Work with the development team to ensure the Magento platform is fully optimized for performance, security, and scalability. Magento Expertise: Oversee and ensure the use of best practices for Magento platform implementation, including the architecture, coding, integration, and testing. Collaborate with the technical team to troubleshoot and resolve Magento-specific challenges. Keep up-to-date with the latest Magento releases and industry trends to suggest improvements and enhancements. Post-Launch & Continuous Improvement: Oversee post-launch monitoring and provide support to address any immediate issues. Ensure that the projects ongoing maintenance, updates, and enhancements are handled seamlessly. Required Skills & Qualifications: Experience: Proven experience (5+ years) managing Magento-based e-commerce projects, particularly for the US market. Strong understanding of the Magento 2.x platform, e-commerce workflows, and web development processes. Demonstrated success in managing full project lifecycles, from planning and development through launch and post-launch. Skills: Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Exceptional communication skills (both verbal and written) with the ability to work closely with clients and stakeholders. Ability to anticipate, identify, and resolve project challenges. Strong problem-solving skills, particularly in high-pressure situations. Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with Magento extensions, integrations, and customizations. Basic understanding of web development technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and how they interact with Magento. Experience using project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, Trello) and version control systems (e.g., Git). Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field (preferred). Certifications: Project Management Professional (PMP), Scrum Master, or other relevant certifications (preferred). Magento Certification (Magento Developer or Magento Solution Specialist) is a plus. Preferred Skills & Qualifications: Experience working with US-based clients and understanding their business needs. Familiarity with e-commerce marketing techniques, including SEO, digital marketing, and analytics. Knowledge of integration with third-party systems (e.g., payment gateways, CRMs, ERPs) is a plus.
