What You’ll Do (Role & Responsibilities) As a Product Manager at PurpleMerit, you will be entrusted with the entire lifecycle of our AI-powered products—from concept to launch and beyond. Your responsibilities will include: Product Roadmap & Strategy Design and maintain a comprehensive product roadmap, setting clear timelines for new features, releases, and enhancements. Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure the roadmap aligns with business objectives and market opportunities. Feature Definition & Prioritization Collect and analyze user feedback, study market trends, and monitor the competitive landscape. Prioritize features and enhancements based on business value, user needs, and technical feasibility. Clearly define requirements and ensure seamless communication with the development team. Product Development Oversight Oversee the end-to-end product development process, ensuring requirements are met and deadlines are achieved. Work closely with UX/UI designers, research analysts, developers, and AI engineers to deliver high-quality solutions. Manage the product backlog and facilitate effective sprint planning. Testing, Feedback & Continuous Improvement Coordinate beta testing, gather actionable user feedback, and analyze product performance metrics. Use insights to drive iterative improvements and inform future product decisions. Product Lifecycle Management Manage products through all phases: ideation, launch, growth, maturity, and eventual wind-down or replacement. Ensure ongoing product evolution to stay ahead of market needs. Cross-Functional Leadership Serve as the primary point of contact between stakeholders and the product team. Foster alignment on goals, timelines, and priorities across all teams. Documentation & Communication Develop and maintain comprehensive product documentation, including user stories, specifications, and release notes. Assist in planning and executing product launches, tracking KPIs, and iterating on improvements. Outstanding verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational and project management abilities. Basic understanding of prompt engineering (or a willingness to learn). Location: 100% Remote Salary Structure 1. Pre-Qualification Internship (Mandatory) Duration: 2 months Stipend: ₹7,000/month Purpose: Assess your foundational skills, work ethic, and cultural fit in a live environment. 2. Internship (Mandatory) Duration: 3 months Stipend: ₹7,000–₹15,000/month (based on performance during pre-qualification) Purpose: Deepen your involvement, demonstrate your contributions, and gain hands-on experience with our team. 3. Full-Time Employment Salary: ₹5 LPA – ₹13 LPA (performance-based, determined during internships) Note: Full-time offers are made only after successful completion of both internship stages. This is an internship converted to full time.
