AI is leading the development of India’s sovereign foundation model and deploying GenAI solutions across high-stakes, government-facing use cases. We are urgently looking for a Project Manager to anchor one of our most critical, confidential government deployments. This is a full-time, on-ground role based in Delhi . The ideal candidate will have experience managing government tech programs (preferably in AI or digital infrastructure), is a strong self-starter, excellent with people, and ideally brings a background in the armed forces or other high-discipline environments. Key Responsibilities Serve as AI’s on-ground representative for a critical government AI initiative in Delhi Oversee day-to-day execution including coordination, compliance, and milestone tracking Build and manage trusted relationships with senior government stakeholders and technical counterparts Navigate public sector workflows to ensure timely execution across all deployment phases Facilitate infrastructure readiness and alignment with data security and regulatory protocols Bridge communication between internal technical teams and external agency stakeholders Provide regular reporting, risk assessments, and operational updates to leadership Contribute to field-level insights that inform strategic GTM and expansion decisions Required Qualifications 6–12 years of experience managing large-scale government programs, public technology deployments, or secure operations Strong program management background with exposure to high-regulation environments Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, and execution skills Comfortable with technical systems - prior exposure to IT, data, or AI projects is a plus Based in or able to relocate to Delhi for full-time, on-premise coordination Proven ability to operate independently in sensitive, outcome-driven contexts Preferred Attributes Background in disciplined services (e.g., armed forces, paramilitary, or civil services) Experience working with ministries, public sector units, or national digital infrastructure missions Familiarity with sovereign data systems, GenAI deployments, or high-trust public digital projects Ability to work across formal institutional processes while enabling agile program deliver Show more Show less
