Project Manager

Job Title: Project Manager – 132 kV Grid Substation (GSS) Construction

Department: Projects / Transmission & Substation

Location: Jaisalmer

Qualification & Experience

• B.Tech/B.E. in Electrical / Civil / Power Engineering.
• Minimum 7–12 years of experience in Transmission & Substation Projects.
• Proven track record in managing 132 kV or above GIS/AIS substation projects.

Knowledge of state electricity board procedures, contract management, and commissioning

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Execution

• Develop and implement complete project execution plans (PEP) for 132 kV GSS & 113 Rs SBS.
• Monitor project progress against schedule using MS Project/Primavera.
• Ensure timely mobilization of manpower, materials, machinery, and resources.
• Oversee civil, electrical, and structural construction works including control room, foundations, gantry, equipment erection, and switchyard works.

Technical Coordination

• Interface with design, procurement, and quality teams to ensure accurate drawings and material approvals.
• Review technical specifications (BOM, BOQ, SLD, GA drawings) and ensure adherence to standards (IS, IEC, IEEE).
• Coordinate with DISCOM/TRANSCO, utility departments, and statutory authorities for approvals.

Contract & Vendor Management

• Monitor contractor performance, variation claims, and subcontractor billing.
• Verify work measurements, certify RA bills, and ensure cost control.
• Ensure all work complies with contractual terms, DPRs, and agreement clauses.

Quality, Safety & Compliance

• Ensure implementation of PQP (Project Quality Plan) and maintain quality records.
• Implement strict safety protocols (HIRA, work permits, toolbox talks).
• Ensure compliance with CEIG, CEA, and electrical safety regulations.

Stakeholder Reporting

• Conduct regular site review meetings with client, consultants, and senior management.
• Maintain daily, weekly & monthly MIS reports including DPR, progress graphs, and cost reports.
• Ensure punch list clearance, FAT/SAT, and commissioning documentation.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per year
