Project Manager Metro Railways - immediate joiner

Job Description

Job Purpose Resource required for Metro project for the position of Project Manager. He will be based in Surat and in charge of managing the Metro. Key Responsibilities Management of project teams/ professionals Management of scope/ budget schedule issues Providing key stakeholder coordination Management of multiple, concurrent projects Essential transit -related experience Beneficial LRT or Metro related experience Management of consultants, procurement, design, construction and commissioning Management within an integrated client / consultant team organization. Prepare, review and approve station footprint drawings with site conditions, land availability, building offsets, structures and property gates. Locate lifts, stairs, escalators, columns with site conditions according to local building codes, NFPA, etc Review and finalization of stations functional architectures drawings prepared by design consultants Liaison with Statutory Bodies (Obtaining clearances and approvals from municipalities, Fire - Department and other local authorities) Knowledge of design, production, construction techniques, procedures, codes, and standards of design Design of Metro stations, landscape, green buildings Develop project plans that identify resource and budgetary needs Host project meetings at least once a week with team and managers Provide feedback, advice, project updates and encouragement to team members Manage deadlines and push the team to ensure timeliness Coordinate with vendors and suppliers as needed Leadership qualities, such as motivation techniques and conflict-management Computer literacy for spreadsheet and word processing software Time management skills, especially familiarity with calendar management and goal setting Familiarity with the work being done by each team member Knowledge of project management processes, such as Scrum and Agile Key Deliverables Functional Competency Qualification Required BE, B. Tech in Electronics. Preferred Minimum 15 years of experience in Project Management in Railway/Metro Networks and minimum 10 years should be in Metro Project Only.
