Job Description

About the Role:

As a Project Manager (Global Delivery Support) for the Solutions and Services team, you will manage the post-sales technical delivery strategy for our strategic customers and ensure that use cases are implemented smoothly and effectively.

Working Hours & Location:

This is a

night-shift

role (not a rotational shift), based in

Bangalore,

and requires

working onsite

at the customer's office.

What we look for:

  • Experience in a Services Delivery role (or similar capacity) dealing with complex, technical implementation projects and migration activities through agile project governance
  • Excellent communication and client-facing skills at the account level in providing visibility, service reviews and reporting through all phases of the implementation lifecycle and migration. You will work hand in hand with senior stakeholders to identify opportunities to improve our service and delivery
  • Work with key stakeholders to implement and lead best practices for technical implementation strategy, architecture discussions, and migration solution advocacy in highly competitive customer environments
  • Previously designed and deployed performant end-to-end data architectures, where you will take ownership of all delivery of services from a project administration and leadership perspective across numerous concurrent projects, ranging from a single individual for 2-3 weeks to 6-month engagements of multi-person teams

You are a great fit for this role if you have:

  • Expertise in monitoring and improving service delivery processes and performance metrics
  • Solid experience in successfully managing multiple B2B infrastructure software development projects, including driving expansion, customer satisfaction, feature adoption, and retention
  • Strong desire to tackle complex technical problems and proven ability in driving executive alignment in accounts that guide strategic data infrastructure decisions and establish partnerships through adoptions and growth
  • Excellent communication skills, with an ability to clearly and concisely explain tricky issues and complex solutions
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 50% of the time to meet with customers

Bonus Points:

  • Hadoop experience is a plus
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills, able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong foundational knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and their Kubernetes offerings, as well as containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes (e.g. VPC, Private Link, Private Service Connect, TLS/SSL, SASL, Kerberos, etc.)
  • Experience working directly with clients, including conflict resolution and managing expectations
