Reports to : General Manager Reportees: Site Engineers, site workers & sub-contractors Key Purpose of the Job (Position Summary) To manage the profitability of site operations through timely completion of quality execution that exceed client expectations Key Responsibilities Safety 1. Act as a role model for safety 2. Ensure compliance to safety policies at the project site by all (including TGE staff & workers, sub- contractor workers, HO visitors, client, consultants, vendors & others) Client management 1. Build relationships with client (and various external stakeholders involved in the project) 2. Provide clarifications to and seek approvals & feedback (formal / informal) from the client during the execution stage of the project 3. Manage client expectations regarding design, execution, cost, timelines etc 4.Ensure proper communication across various external entities in the project (client, consultant, vendors etc.) Project planning 1. Develop the project plan by incorporating client requirement, design considerations and project expectations 2. Define the resource plan (including the manpower plan considering mobilization and demobilization phases of the project) 3. Project cash flow requirement in consultation with senior architect, production manager and finance & accounts Resource Management 1. Approve material requisition raised by project engineer and ensure the same is approved by HO 2. Handle local purchase of resources and ensure on-time availability of resources for site execution 3. Optimize use of critical resources (especially A class items) and reduce wastage / pilferage of resources at site 4. Handle payments to vendors for all local purchases Project execution 1. Manages project activities to ensure compliance with the project works program, schedules, QA/QC, safety and specific requirements as well as to achieve timely completion of the works and within allocated budget 2. Involved in the project team meetings and planning including contracts, purchasing, logistics and construction 3. Monitors and manages the master program, procurement, sub-contractors and site supervisors / junior engineers progress against the critical path 4. Prepares method statements for major tasks and manages safety, QA/QC documentation to maintain the companys quality standards 5. Prepare and follow up for Client bills at various sites 6. Develops and delivers progress reports, proposals, relevant documentation required and presentations to Company Directors and General Manager. Monitoring & review 1. Review the quality of the work completed (all trades) with the project team on a regular basis to ensure that it meets project standard 2. Review & montor project schedule adherence to baseline plan 3. Review and monitor project cost adherence against budget 4. Review & monitor project cash flow situations and recommend suitable measures to address cash flow situations People management: 1. Prepare manpower budget and schedules; manpower selection and hiring for site execution 2. Review performance and give timely feedback to individual team members 3. Ensure high productivity of individual team members (& also as a team) 4. Ensure high morale of team members; provide opportunities to team members to learn & grow professionally 5. Ensure collaboration and proper communication across various internal entities in the project (management, production, project team, document controller and others) Key Skills / Experience Required Educational Qualification Requirements:- Candidate must possess at least a bachelors degree in Civil engineering / Architecture or equivalent Excellent in project planning and scheduling, computer literate and proficient in AutoCAD, MS Project and MS Excel Proactive, results-oriented, strong technical competence, good interpersonal skills and with a can-do attitude as well as strong commercial and business acumen Additional Qualifications / certification MS Office, Excel MS Project Autocad Prior experience At least 10 years working experience in the related field of Faade Cladding/ Execution with hands-on presence on site Other skills (preferred) Project Management fundamentals Basics of finance & cash flow Negotiation skills Location :- 6 days Workweek - 1-2 Days in HO at Jogeshwari East - 1 Day in Vasai Factory - 3-4 Days on various sites
