Job Summary: Cglia is a cutting-edge software development company building highly secure, cloud-based enterprise solutions that accelerate the drug discovery and development process. We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Project Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of our software products, ensuring quality and timely releases. This role will coordinate across product management, development, and quality assurance teams to prioritize, plan, and execute bug fixes, new product features, and updates. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, ensure accountability across teams, handle resistance, and foster a results-driven culture. Responsibilities: Manage the entire project lifecycle for product releases, including bug fixes, new product initiatives (NPI) features, and regular updates, ensuring they meet the highest quality standards and are delivered on schedule. Collaborate with product management, development teams, and quality assurance to ensure feature prioritization, thorough testing, and resolution of issues. Develop and maintain detailed project plans that outline scope, timelines, resources, and dependencies, ensuring clear milestones and deliverables. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to drive collaboration, ensure timely delivery, and resolve roadblocks, holding all stakeholders accountable for their roles. Lead efforts to proactively identify and mitigate risks throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring the project stays on track and within scope. Ensure that all releases are tested thoroughly and meet the companys quality standards before deployment. Effectively handle resistance and manage conflicts, fostering a culture of ownership, accountability, and commitment across teams. Maintain regular communication with stakeholders, including senior leadership, product managers, and development teams, providing updates on project status, risks, and mitigation plans. Lead retrospectives and post-release reviews to identify areas for continuous improvement in the release and development processes. Manage competing priorities and adapt quickly to changes, balancing short-term fixes with long-term goals. Promote a culture of innovation, driving teams to think creatively while adhering to the project timelines and ensuring high-quality outcomes Qualification: 7+ years of experience in project management, with a proven track record in managing software product releases, including bug fixes and new features. Strong understanding of the product development lifecycle, including planning, testing, release management, and version control. Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams, driving collaboration, managing conflicts, and ensuring accountability across product management, development, and quality teams. Experience in identifying and managing project risks, ensuring on-time delivery, and maintaining quality standards throughout the project lifecycle. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage stakeholder expectations and resolve conflicts effectively. Strong leadership and motivational skills, able to drive teams to take ownership of their responsibilities and deliver on commitments. Ability to work extended hours and weekends when necessary to meet deadlines and ensure product quality. Preferred Qualifications : Experience with Agile or other project management methodologies. Background in managing projects within regulated industries, particularly healthcare or life sciences. Familiarity with managing distributed or outsourced teams. Exposure to advanced technologies, such as AI/ML or data analytics, is a plus.
