Project Lead in Telematics

Job Description

Role & responsibilities Provide subject matter expertise in telematics technologies, including GPS tracking, fleet management, IoT sensors, and cloud connectivity. Define best practices and industry standards for telematics implementation. Assist project managers in tracking telematics implementation milestones and risk mitigation strategies. Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies for telematics projects. Provide leadership with dashboards and KPIs on telematics project performance. Research emerging trends in telematics and propose innovative solutions for business efficiency. Recommend enhancements for predictive analytics, AI/ML applications, and automation in telematics. Act as the primary liaison between technical teams, business units, and external vendors. Preferred candidate profile Strong understanding of GPS tracking, fleet management systems, and cloud-based telematics platforms. Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and project management best practices. Familiarity with regulatory compliance standards (AIS-140, GDPR, ISO 26262, etc.). Hands-on experience with telematics APIs, IoT architecture, and real-time analytics. Proficiency in data analytics, telematics protocols (CAN, OBD-II, MQTT), and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure). Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
