- Nature of Work: Lead capital-intensive projects such as Ammonia, Urea, DAP, and Chemical plants — from concept to commissioning — ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
- Education: B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering (preference for Chemical Engineers handling complex process projects)
- Experience: 20+ years of experience across project management, operations, maintenance, and engineering within fertilizers or petrochemicals, including a minimum of 8 years in project leadership roles.
- Key Stakeholders: Business Head, MD/Board, and cross-functional collaboration with Finance, HR, Legal, regulatory authorities, vendors, contractors, and consultants.
- Industry Preference: Heavy Chemicals, Petrochemicals, Fertilizers — professionals with strong exposure to process technologies, compliance frameworks, and vendor ecosystems essential to project success.

Key Responsibilities
Project Leadership & Execution
- Develop comprehensive project roadmaps and feasibility studies, integrating technical, commercial, and safety goals.
- Drive the full project lifecycle — from concept and design to execution and commissioning — ensuring adherence to cost, quality, and schedule benchmarks.
- Lead contract management, vendor selection, and regulatory approvals to ensure timely and compliant project delivery.
- Monitor progress through structured reviews and proactive risk management to maintain performance integrity.
Stakeholder & Vendor Management
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders including authorities, vendors, and contractors to resolve challenges and ensure project continuity.
- Maintain transparent communication and alignment across all project participants.
Team Building & Leadership
- Build, mentor, and empower high-performing project teams to deliver excellence in execution.
- Foster a culture of technical capability, safety, accountability, and innovation.
- Champion leadership succession and long-term talent development within the project function.
