Project Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer with a proven track record of leading complex engineering projects. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and the ability to manage large-scale projects from concept through completion. This role involves guiding project teams, coordinating with stakeholders, and ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with quality and safety standards.

Job Description:

• Supervise and monitor day-to-day site construction activities to ensure smooth project execution.
• Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with approved drawings, technical specifications, and established quality standards.
• Coordinate effectively with contractors, sub-contractors, and suppliers to maintain workflow and resolve on-site challenges.
• Prepare and maintain accurate daily and weekly progress reports (Out-turn report), highlighting key accomplishments, delays, and resource usage.
• Monitor material consumption, control inventory, and implement effective measures to minimize wastage.
• Assist in planning, scheduling, and tracking project timelines to meet deadlines and project milestones.
• Inspect and ensure quality, and verify the completion of work as per standards.
• Handle quantity measurements, Create billing processes, and verify BOQs for accuracy.
• Ensure that machinery and other movable assets are properly maintained and in optimal working condition.
• Identify, and resolve site-related issues proactively to avoid delays and ensure project continuity.
• Ensure site discipline and strict adherence to industry codes, standards, and safety regulations during all project phases.

Skills:

• A formal accreditation or qualification in engineering or a relevant field.
• Excellent time management, leadership, and organizational skills.
• A good track record of successful project management and supervision.
• The capacity to work with multi-disciplined teams and projects.

Qualification:

• Bachelor’s degree in Diploma or Civil Engineering, or related field.
• 10-15 years of experience in project management, construction, or site supervision.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Project, or similar tools.
• Knowledge of safety standards, quality control, and regulatory compliance.
