Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Project Engineer / Sr. Project Engineer with 3 to 7 years of hands-on experience in electric wiring harness design and development using Creo Parametric. This crucial role involves designing complex wiring harnesses for various applications, ensuring optimal routing, connectivity, and performance. Your primary responsibilities will include creating detailed 3D models of wiring harnesses, including cables, connectors, and routing paths, using Creo Parametric's specialized modules. You will be responsible for developing comprehensive wiring diagrams and schematics, ensuring adherence to electrical engineering principles and industry standards. This role requires a deep understanding of electrical connectivity, signal integrity, and power distribution. You will collaborate closely with mechanical design teams to integrate wiring harnesses seamlessly within product assemblies, considering packaging constraints, thermal management, and ease of assembly. Furthermore, you will work with manufacturing and testing teams to ensure designs are manufacturable, testable, and meet all quality requirements. Experience with DFM (Design for Manufacturability) principles applied to wiring harnesses, including consideration for tooling and assembly processes, is highly valued. Your problem-solving skills will be essential in troubleshooting design challenges and optimizing harness layouts for performance and cost-effectiveness.
