Project Engineer

Job Summary:

The Project Engineer - MEP will oversee and manage the design, installation, and commissioning of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems on construction projects. This role is responsible for coordinating MEP works with architects, structural engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration, compliance with specifications, safety standards, and timely project completion.

Key Responsibilities:

Review and verify MEP design drawings, specifications, and calculations for accuracy and compliance with codes and standards.Coordinate and liaise with architects, structural engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure proper installation and integration of MEP systems.Prepare cost estimates, procurement plans, and project schedules specific to MEP works.Monitor on-site MEP installation to ensure adherence to design, quality standards, and safety regulations.Resolve technical issues, provide clarifications, and adapt designs for site conditions as needed.Manage subcontractors and vendors for MEP works, including tracking progress, quality control, and documentation.Conduct site inspections, witness testing, and commissioning activities for MEP systems.Maintain accurate project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, reports, and as-built drawings.Enforce health, safety, and environmental policies related to MEP activities on site.Report project status, risks, and issues to the Project Manager/Director and propose corrective actions.Support project closeout by ensuring completion of all MEP documentation and handover requirements.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering or a related field.Proven experience in MEP project engineering within construction projects.Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems design and installation.Familiarity with building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards.Proficiency in AutoCAD, project management software, and BIM coordination tools.Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced construction environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.

Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹1,000,000.00 per year
