Job Description

Job Scope: Configuration and programming of automation and controls systems involving HMI, Process (PLC/DCS) and Process Safety (ICSS/ESD/FGS). Development of HMI, SCADA Software for Rockwell Systems or any other Competitors. Design and Engineering of Process Safety PLC Systems / Control Systems for Oil & Gas Industry Ability to handle the project starting from Design till site commissioning. Design and Development of Project Engineering documents in accordance to IEC standards. Deliver & execute the assigned projects on time with good quality/ cost effectiveness and customer satisfaction. Travelling to regional Offices (across the Globe)/ Customer sites to perform Factory Acceptance test/Commissioning. Keep improving self-engineering capabilities and exchange best practice with other team members to improve teams capabilities. Work closely with Supervisor to guarantee customer acceptance. Work with team to manage technical risk in project. Work with team to clarify technical issues. Work closely with Supervisor to achieve customer acceptance. Demonstrate application & technical expertise. Key Responsibilities: Ensure 100% meet technical items defined in project. Ensure project implementation follows the procedure of Engineering standards and Quality. Maximize reusable standard product and engineering in project. Support Supervisor in managing team performance. Job related Competencies 3-5 Years of Experience in project execution for Process Safety and Control applications in Oil and Gas Industry. Must be willing to travel for Commissioning/Site support activities. Knowledge of P&IDs, System Architecture, IO list, Design Documentation for Process Safety Applications. Knowledge on IEC 61508 and IEC 61511 standards. Working knowledge on typical Process Safety terminologies like SIL systems, Fail safe/ Fault Tolerant Architectures, TMR/DMR Systems, Safety network control protocols. TUV Functional Safety certification / ISA 84.0 Fundamental Specialist certification is good to have but not mandatory. Exposure to Emergency Shutdown Systems, Fire & Gas Systems, Gas detector Systems, Burner Management Systems, Well Head control/Safety Systems. Should have gone through complete project life cycle from design phase to commissioning for Process Safety Applications. Should have exposure to Process Industry. High level of expertise in Industry Knowledge, Application Knowledge, Training Skills, and basic understanding of Project Management. Excellent communication Skills.
