Project Coordinator

Key Responsibilities

1. Project Planning & Scheduling

• Assist in developing detailed project plans, timelines, and work schedules for road and highway construction activities.
  
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and site teams to ensure project plans are feasible and aligned with technical and contractual requirements.
  
• Help in identifying project risks and preparing mitigation plans.
  

2. Project Coordination

• Liaise with internal teams (engineering, procurement, QS, site execution) to ensure smooth flow of information and timely completion of tasks.
  
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and government authorities for approvals, technical queries, and site instructions.
  
• Facilitate regular progress meetings and maintain updated project documentation.
  

3. Project Monitoring & Reporting

• Track daily, weekly, and monthly project progress against planned schedules.
  
• Prepare and present progress reports, dashboards, and deviation reports to management.
  
• Monitor work execution, resource utilization, and highlight delays or bottlenecks promptly.
  

4. Letter Drafting & Documentation

• Draft official letters, emails, and project-related correspondence to consultants, clients, contractors, and government agencies.
  
• Ensure all communications are accurate, professional, and aligned with organizational standards.
  
• Maintain proper documentation of drawings, contracts, minutes of meetings, and other project records.
  

5. Project Cost Estimation & Budgeting

• Assist in preparing cost estimates, BOQs, and budget plans for road and highway construction activities.
  
• Coordinate with QS and procurement teams to review contractor quotations and cost proposals.
  
• Support cost monitoring and highlight cost variances during project execution.
  

Experience

• 15-20 years of experience in project handling, planning, or related roles in road/highway or infrastructure projects.
