Project Controls Engineer

Job Description

Primary Competency: ● Control Panel designing● Testing of Sensors, radars and other electronic equipment, etc. with PLCs● On site supervision (project Basis) of erection, Installation & commissioning of eMeasurematics suppliedequipment on Cranes, Transfer Cars, in steel mill Yard.● Installation / maintenance / corrective / emergency maintenance visits at customer sites (all over India) foreMeasurematics products.● Attending equipment breakdowns, professionally handling service calls, Troubleshooting of equipment &maintenance calls to ensure proper system operation, report generation all resolving problems.● Build, Develop & Sustain Customer relationships with effective Customer management and coordination withinternal teams.● Prepare the Bill of Material and list of hardware and RFQs● Communication with different Vendors for technical details, quotations, etc. Key Responsibility Areas: ● Advanced knowledge of PLC motion control, automation and selection of different sensors, IO cards,communication cards, Drive (VFD/DTC) systems & control.● Understanding of Electrical schematics and GA drawings● Knowledge of LAN/Wireless LAN and networking components● Knowledge of PLC basics, programming, and troubleshooting preferably Siemens PLCs (S7-1200, S7-1500) andABB PLCs● Attention to detail and ability to meet project deadlines.● Should be ready to travel to various sites in India (steel mills) based on customer requirements. Also, should beready to stay at the site and finish work on time.● Should supervise the erection activities at the site if required.● Should deploy, test, and commission the PLC program and the complete system at any site in India based oncustomer’s requirements.● Working knowledge of Autocad-2D● Working knowledge of ePlan Software for Electrical Schematics● Knowledge of soft documentation using MS Office, Excel, Google Docs & Google Sheets.Industry Preference(If Applicable)Steel * Professional Must Have :PLC SiemensSCADA / PLCMOTION CONTROLCRANE AUTOMATIONMETAL INDUSTRY AUTOMATION - Preferred. Qualification Degree in Electronics / Electrical / Instrumentation
