Planning and Project Control Manager Health Care Sector The successful applicant will need to have experience in coordinating and managing multiple stakeholders and demonstrate the ability to build robust, long-term relationships and integrated teams. This position is based out of the corporate office, working on multiple projects in the PMO. The resource shall be reporting to the Head-Projects and managing the complete Planning and Programme Controls Management deliverables for the project. Responsible for the development of the programme schedule and subsequent management of consultants and contractors. Responsibilities Include Program manage the development and delivery of the final set up plans. Responsible for the sequencing and scheduling of works across projects in the programme. Establish and maintain schedule baselines and ensure project control mechanisms are in place to monitor performance. Working closely with the client, Consultants and Contractors. Review overall project status with the Client, Design and Construction team and recommend corrective action where necessary. It is essential that you can demonstrate a clear, systematic approach to solving complex issues and are able to communicate solutions in an effective, efficient, high level manner. This includes analysing and reporting on all Scheduling, Cost and Change Controls for this scheme in conjunction with the client. The successful applicant will need to have experience in coordinating and managing multiple stakeholders and demonstrate the ability to build robust, long term relationships and integrated teams. Excellent written and verbal communication skills will be required. It is essential that you can demonstrate a clear, systematic approach to solving complex technical issues and are able to communicate solutions in an effective, high level manner. Requirements: Experience, Knowledge & Skills 12+ years’ experience. Experience in working in contractor organisation of minimum 3 years is an advantage. Health care experience will add value but is not mandatory. Excellent written and verbal communication skills will be required. Detailed knowledge and appreciation of health and safety is essential. Well-developed communication (verbal and written), interpersonal and relationship building skills and ability to develop and maintain stakeholder relationships is able to negotiate and manage conflict. Good negotiation and influencing skills. Strong knowledge in IT. Good leadership skills and supervisory ability. Qualifications Degree Qualifications is essential. Professional Memberships are an advantage but not essential.
